Meet Houdini
Cody, owner and master roaster of Houdini Coffee Roasters, is a Tri-Cities native who began his career in the coffee industry as barista in 2014. Within a year his interest transitioned into roasting coffee and even performing maintenance on coffee equipment. He became passionate about mastering the art of roasting and proved to be gifted. His talents inspired the nickname “Houdini” or “The Coffee Magician.” He has since worked for several local coffee companies such as Roasters Coffee, Resilient Coffee Roasters and Black Rock Coffee Bar. He has been instrumental in elevating each company’s coffee programs.
During his 10+ years of experience in the industry, he has developed and implemented working maintenance systems, wholesale programs and quality control practices. His career highlights include: traveling to Brazil with coffee importers, attending many SCA and Coffee fest shows and competing in Best Espresso at Specialty Coffee Association in 2019.
Cody is eager to share his masterfully roasted coffees and his vast expertise to elevate the coffee community in the Tri-Cities.
